This product was developed for an individual inventor client as a continuation to the Cigar Preserver. We were asked to design a similar preserver for tobacco products. The product is constructed by few injection molded parts which were fused together by ways of Ultrasonic Welding. This welding help us to create the air tight container for the tobacco and the piston tube adjacent to it. After the user is placing the tobacco inside the main chamber, he pulls on the pump handel few times in order to remove all the air from the container chamber. The tobacco is preserved by being stored in the vacuum chamber until the next use.
